Indigenous Member In-Person Meet-Up in Vancouver

In late August, CPABC hosted a successful event, the Vancouver Indigenous Member In-Person Meet-Up. The gathering aimed to foster connection and communication among Indigenous CPAs in the Metro Vancouver area.

CPABC’s president & CEO, Lori Mathison, FCA, FCGA, LLP, welcomed attendees to the event, and local Indigenous caterer Salishan Catering provided the meal. Thank you to all who attended – the energy in the room was palpable as people made new connections and reconnected with peers and colleagues. 

Looking ahead, we hope to host more events like this across the province. The next In-Person Meet-Up will be held in January 2025 in Kamloops (date to be determined) prior to CPABC’s involvement in the Gathering Our Voices Indigenous Youth Gathering to be held in Kamloops in March 2025.
