Lori Mathison is the President and CEO of CPABC, leading the organization’s Executive Management Committee and representing the province on the national Council of Chief Executives for the Canadian CPA profession. Previously, Lori was the managing partner of the Vancouver office of Dentons Canada LLP, where she was a partner in Denton’s Tax Law group and practiced both tax and corporate law for almost 20 years.

Lori is a governor and a past chair of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. She sits on the strategic advisory board of the Counter Illicit Finance Alliance, the board of the CPA Western School of Business, the faculty advisory board of the UBC Sauder School of Business, and the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the UBC Centre for Business Law.

Peter Guo is a partner at MNP and established the firm’s enterprise risk services practice in British Columbia. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Toronto. A CPA who is designated as a technology specialist, he holds the Certified Information Technology Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control qualifications. Peter is also an Associate Business Continuity Professional and a seasoned board director who holds the ICD.D designation. In addition to being the current chair of CPABC’s board, Peter serves on other corporate, professional, university, and community boards. He has been named to Business in Vancouver’s BC500 (BC’s 500 Most Influential Business Leaders) multiple times.
