No, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate introductions from CPA family members. While some graduates have family members who share in the designation, many more graduates do not. In post-convocation surveys to past graduates, we have received comments advising that it felt inequitable to only have family members who were CPAs share the stage with their grads, despite the fact that many non-CPA family members have the same desire and enthusiasm about sharing the stage with and introducing their loved ones. As a result, a professional emcee will introduce all CFE passers. We appreciate your understanding.
At this time, each CFE passer is allowed six guests maximum for the ceremony. Additional guests will be confirmed if space allows closer to the event date. This will be confirmed two weeks prior to the ceremony.
The event will include remarks from our special guests and the class valedictorian. All CFE passers will be introduced by their first and last name as they walk across the stage in celebration of their achievements.
We will have a professional photographer on-site and photos will be released afterwards. There will also be a number of photo props, including CPA banners, signs, décor, etc., around the venue to use in your photos before and after the event.
