Known for her expertise in technology-enabled business transformations, Shelley uses her role as PwC’s managed accounts leader to guide organizations in implementing strategic initiatives and addressing sustainability risks.
Her stellar achievements at PwC include growing four platforms that represented 65% of the firm’s value to clients while serving as its Canadian platforms leader (2022-2024). And as PwC’s ESG markets leader (2021-2024), Shelley developed the market approach and integrated services to expand a small group of talented professionals into a team of 400 that now provides sustainability services to 70% of PwC’s top clients—effectively growing the practice tenfold.
Shelley had an equally significant impact at IBM Canada, where, as vice-president of the BC public sector and Canadian and global health-care leader (2008-2018), she led the company’s role in introducing the BC Services Card and expanded its public health solution to global clients. Earlier in her career, she developed an international marketing strategy that helped BC achieve $76 billion in economic growth in priority sectors.
Also a recognized leader in advancing opportunities for women in the tech community, Shelley is a founding member of the Vancouver chapter of Canadian Women in Technology. Additionally, for over 10 years, she has given back by mentoring business students at SFU and UBC.
“Thanks to Shelley’s leadership, we have not only attracted top talent in the sustainability field but also increased our sustainability-related services tenfold. Her contributions have been instrumental in positioning PwC Canada as a clear market leader in sustainability.”
