Kay is a financial expert whose vision and commitment to both business growth and community impact have distinguished her as a leader in finance and strategy.
Since 2017, she has leveraged decades of multi-industry experience to drive organizational success at Kabam, a subsidiary of Netmarble Corp., a global gaming company based in Korea. Under her leadership as CFO, Kabam has grown into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise and expanded to six locations. With her strategic financial management and oversight of data analytics and machine learning, Kay has driven cost efficiencies and helped the company achieve sustained profitability. These achievements garnered her Business in Vancouver’s BC CFO of the Year Award (small and medium enterprise category) in 2023.
Prior to joining Kabam, Kay held diverse leadership roles across industries. These include serving as an anti-money laundering expert for the RCMP, directing the Airport Improvement Fee program for the Vancouver Airport Authority, and serving as CFO and senior VP of the Grand Ho Tram/Asian Coast Development Ltd., where she led the funding, development, and operation of a $4.2 billion resort investment in Vietnam.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Kay has been a dedicated board member of the Vancouver Community College Foundation since 2006, providing strategic guidance on fundraising, scholarship distribution, and campus modernization.
