Kyla is a recognized subject matter expert in the non-profit and credit union sectors who has driven significant growth at MNP’s Kelowna office. In addition to expanding the firm’s services and catalyzing a 45% increase in revenues from clients in the credit union sector, she has spearheaded change management initiatives, including the integration of new technology in assurance engagements and process efficiencies. In 2021, just five years after earning her CPA designation, Kyla became one of the firm’s youngest female partners.
Her commitment to the CPA profession is equally impressive. As an active member of CPABC’s Okanagan Chapter, which she chaired for several years, Kyla raises the profile of the profession and builds community among local CPAs. She also gives back by mentoring CPA candidates as they prepare for the CFE—thus far, two of her mentees have made the National Honour Roll.
Kyla give generously to the broader community as well. She has volunteered as treasurer for the YMCA of Southern Interior BC since 2022 and has also championed a team for the YMCA’s Cycle for Strong Kids event, which raises $200,000 annually.
“As a partner, Kyla has been pivotal in driving the firm’s strategic direction. Her innovative character shines through as an early adopter for technological advancements that create significant efficiencies and advance change.”
