2024-2025 Member Dues Process
This guide will help you through the online annual 2024-2025 member dues process. Please read it carefully as we made changes to the way you pay your annual dues and to the member dues reduction categories.
The Annual Member Dues Process: What You Can Expect
- Your 2024-2025 member dues have been re-set to full member dues (BC Resident-Prime).
- Please review the eligibility requirements under each member dues category. If you are eligible for a reduction, you will need to complete a declaration to reduce your 2024-2025 dues.
- As part of the membership dues process, you will be asked to update your contact information, confirm your CPABC Chapter, communication preferences and the annual voluntary Indigenous Self-Identification Questionnaire.
What To Prepare Beforehand
- Your CPABC Online Services login credentials and password. If you do not remember your credentials or password, use the links provided at https://services.bccpa.ca for assistance.
- Access to a printer to print your dues notice.
- Credit card to pay your member dues through CPABC’s secure online payment system.
How To Pay Your Member Dues
Log into CPABC’s Online Services at https://services.bccpa.ca (you will also find this link in your dues notice). This is the BC Prime-Resident amount; all 2024-2025 member dues were re-set to the BC Prime-Resident dues rate.
If you received a dues reduction for the 2023-2024 dues year, and wish to obtain a reduction this year, you will need to complete an online declaration to reduce your 2024-2025 dues.

If you are not eligible for a dues reduction
Please click “here to pay” link beside the dues notice amount in the blue box at the top of the screen if you are not eligible for a dues reduction.
If you are eligible for a dues reduction
Please review the various membership dues categories and eligibility requirements. If you are eligible for a reduction, click the “make declaration” link above the table and follow the prompts to confirm your eligibility and apply. You will receive a confirmation email. Select “Dues Payment” to continue. Please note prior to making a declaration, you will first be required to update your contact information.
Obligation to Report
Please read the information carefully on your duty to report. Click “Next”.
Please note under CPABC Bylaws, all members must provide a current:
- Email address;
- Mailing address;
- Business or employment address; and
- Municipality of residence.
Profile Information
Confirm or update your personal information by clicking on the pencil icon. Click “Next”.
Home Address Information
CPABC Bylaws require that you keep your contact information up-to-date in order to receive regulatory communications which are critical to maintaining your CPABC membership. Regulatory communications include your annual member dues notice and CPD reporting. Please provide an email address for regulatory communications as CPABC strives to reduce its use of mailed communications. Click on the pencil icon to update your home address information. Then click “Next”.
Employment Information
Click on the pencil icon to update your employer information. The position and sector fields are mandatory to complete.
Below are two mandatory Indigenous employer questions. Click “Update” after answering the questions, then click “Next”
Voluntary Indigenous Self-Identification
This page has a voluntary indigenous self-identification question. Answering “yes” will display two more questions. Click “Update” and then click “Next”.
EDI Questionnaire
CPABC is committed to creating a profession that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive for all of our members and students. As part of this commitment, we are collecting data to understand our current diversity. This will help us obtain an accurate picture of the composition of our membership and measure changes over time.
Chapter Information
Click on the pencil icon to update your chapter information. Click “Next”.
Communication Preferences
Select the communications you want to receive from CPABC. To unsubscribe from any CPABC communication, please uncheck the box indicating you no longer want to receive the electronic (email) or paper-based communication. You may not unsubscribe from Regulatory communication. Click “Confirm Selections”. CPA Canada communications must be updated with CPA Canada.
GST
Please confirm if you are eligible for GST zero-rating for your member dues. If you select “no”, click “Continue” to go to the Donation page. If you are eligible, select “yes” and continue with the validation. Once you confirm your GST zero-rating, you will be taken to the Donation page.
Donations
You may make a donation in any amount to the CPA Education Foundation of BC or CPABC Benevolent Fund. You may leave it blank if you do not want to make a donation. Click “Next”.
Dues Notice
Your 2024-2025 dues notice will appear on the screen less any dues reduction(s) declared or donations made. Select the PDF at the top to save or print your notice. Once you have paid your dues, your dues notice will not be available.
Payment
Enter your payment information to make your dues payment. You will receive an email receipt confirming payment of your 2024-2025 member dues. You may also print your receipt from the list of options.
