Message from the CPAEF Board Chair

Martha Thomas, CPA, CA, Chair, CPA Education Foundation

As the Board Chair, I am honoured and excited to lead an exceptional board of people who share a collective passion and dedication towards advancing excellence in accounting education in BC. Education is a key part of economic and social development in a world that is facing exponential rates of change. As we enter the world of Artificial Intelligence, and manage the uncertainty, I am hopeful that we will find ways to use it in a way that helps to further advance education and innovation in BC and Canada.

I would like to thank the outgoing Chair, Keri Norrie FCPA, FCA, CGA, for her ongoing support and exceptional leadership both on the board and off. I aspire to meet the bar she set in upholding the CPAEF’s standards for integrity and ethics. On behalf of the CPAEF, I want to Thank everyone who has and continues to support the foundation’s mission to advance accounting education in BC.
