UBC|Sauder Awarded CPAEF Grant

The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) has approved a grant to UBC|Sauder School of Business towards the annual license fee of the Audit Analytics Database. The database is used to support various academic research conducted by UBC’s research faculty as well as to help educate accounting students in the classroom.

Russell Lundholm, Professor and Chair, Accounting and Information Systems Division at UBC|Sauder School of Business said, “the findings from these and other studies using Audit Analytic data are reported first in the classrooms of UBC, well before they are published in accounting journals. This is one of the benefits of attending a research university – students are on the cutting edge of knowledge in the profession.”

The CPAEF is delighted to award UBC|Sauder with this grant and to support world-class research that is being conducted.
