CPAEF Bursaries Awarded

The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) has awarded 10 students and candidates attending the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) with bursaries totaling $21,500.  Two of these recipients received bursaries from the Vancouver Technology Forum Bursary Fund, which was established many years ago, to support students acquire technology hardware.

These bursaries support candidates in the CPAWSB professional education program (PEP) and students taking preparatory courses through the school.  Awards are based on financial need as well as academic performance and personal circumstances.

The next intake of bursary applications will be in fall 2020 with a deadline of November 15.   Applications can be found on the CPAEF website under “Helping Students”.

The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) would like to thank the members of the Fraser Valley Technology Forum (forum) for their generous donation of almost $7,400.  As directed, these funds will be used to support CPA students with bursary awards that have a technology focus.

CPAEF Bursary Deadline – November 15, 2020
The CPA Education Foundation offers bursaries to students in Preparatory Courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students in CPA Preparatory Courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary once they are registered in CPAWSB Core Module 1 or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
