CPABC Richmond/S.Delta Chapter Continues Support

Okanagan College has awarded the CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) John Bayer Memorial Scholarship to Taylor Earl.  In addition, the CPABC Okanagan Chapter Scholarship was awarded to Abigail Underwood.  Both students are in the Bachelor of Business Administration program.

The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) has awarded three students and candidates attending the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) and two students attending a BC post-secondary institution with bursaries totaling $8,000.  

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) has awarded the 2020 CPA Education Foundation Awards to Caitlin Wiens and Harpreet Singh.  Both students are majoring in accounting in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program.  

Thompson Rivers University (TRU) has advised that the following students have received the following awards: CPAEF Awards ($2,000); - Kennedy Aberdeen - Amy Jantz

The CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) has announced the 2020 David B. Reid Award for top two students in Audit and Assurance course offered by the CPA Western School of Business. Each award is valued at $500.

Each year, several CPABC Chapters host Chinese New Year celebrations to raise money for student awards at local post-secondary institutions.   

Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) has awarded the 2020 CPA Education Foundation Awards to Premajanany Premathasan and Wajeeha Rahman.  

The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) would like to thank the members of the Fraser Valley Technology Forum (forum) for their generous donation of almost $7,400.  As directed, these funds will be used to support CPA students with bursary awards that have a technology focus.     

The CPA Education Foundation offers bursaries to students in Preparatory Courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students in CPA Preparatory Courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary once they are registered in CPAWSB Core Module 1 or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
