TRU Announces CPAEF Award Recipients

Thompson Rivers University (TRU) has advised that the following students have received the following awards:
CPAEF Awards ($2,000);
Brenda Waechter FCPA FCGA, chair of the CPAEF Board said, “the CPAEF wishes these students every success as they complete their academic studies and embark on their chosen careers.”
TRU students can apply for these awards through the TRU awards office. Award recipients are selected by the university.

The CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) has announced the 2020 David B. Reid Award for top two students in Audit and Assurance course offered by the CPA Western School of Business. Each award is valued at $500.

Fraser Valley Members Support Future CPAs with Donation to the CPAEF
The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) would like to thank the members of the Fraser Valley Technology Forum (forum) for their generous donation of almost $7,400. As directed, these funds will be used to support CPA students with bursary awards that have a technology focus.

CPAEF Bursary Deadline – November 15, 2020
The CPA Education Foundation offers bursaries to students in Preparatory Courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students in CPA Preparatory Courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary once they are registered in CPAWSB Core Module 1 or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
