CPAEF Announces 2020 David B. Reid Award Recipients

The CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) has announced the 2020 David B. Reid Award for top two students in Audit and Assurance course offered by the CPA Western School of Business. Each award is valued at $500.
The CPAEF David B. Reid Scholarships were awarded to Bibiana Brantalova (Campbell River) and Zheng Wang (Richmond).
David Chiang, CPA CA, CPABC’s Vice-President Member Advice and Programs said, “congratulations to these students on their achievements and good luck with their pursuit of the CPA designation.”

Fraser Valley Members Support Future CPAs with Donation to the CPAEF
The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) would like to thank the members of the Fraser Valley Technology Forum (forum) for their generous donation of almost $7,400. As directed, these funds will be used to support CPA students with bursary awards that have a technology focus.

CPAEF Bursary Deadline – November 15, 2020
The CPA Education Foundation offers bursaries to students in Preparatory Courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students in CPA Preparatory Courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary once they are registered in CPAWSB Core Module 1 or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
