Upper Vancouver Island Chapter - CFE Support Sessions Event Recap

On Wednesday July 17th, 2024, the Upper Vancouver Island Chapter simultaneously held two CFE Support Sessions in Courtenay and Nanaimo.

The event began with a presentation from the Chapter volunteers and recent CFE writers who shared their personal experiences of their CFE process from preparation and study plans, to case writing techniques and review of practical examples, to what to expect at the writing centre. Attendees were able to meet fellow peers going through the same process and share their own perspectives of the exam. The CPA students were also able to ask lots of questions to gain insight on how to prepare for the prestigious three-day exam.

The event included dinner, refreshments and CPA swag to keep the energy high!

The Chapter would like to thank the recent CFE writers and CPAs who assisted with presenting and sharing their personal experiences to guide the next round of future CPAs. We would like to thank everyone for coming out and we wish all the upcoming September writers success!
