A Year Ago…. the Chapter Hosted the Annual Golf Tournament Social

What were we doing a year ago?

In the summer of 2019, the CPABC Okanagan Chapter hosted their fifth annual golf tournament in June and also co-hosted the inaugural CPABC Member Showcase event in July.

Over 50 attendees came out for the annual golf tournament which took place at the Pinnacle Golf Course at Gallagher’s Canyon in Kelowna. After enjoying an afternoon of golf, attendees were treated to a spectacular BBQ buffet while networking with fellow members, students and candidates.

The Member Showcase event in July 2019 attracted 70 guests and was intended to engage local members and recent CFE grads with the profession.  CPABC staff provided information about the many ways to volunteer with the profession as well as the various products and services offered by CPABC. Several members of the CPABC Board were in Kelowna for the annual board retreat and made time attend the Member Showcase.Photo by: Bigstock

Fast forward to 2020….
