CPABC North Shore/Sunshine Coast Chapter creates New Award at CapU Community

CPABC North Shore Sunshine Coast Chapter creates New Award at CapU

The CPABC North Shore/Sunshine Coast Chapter has made another generous donation to the CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) and directed that this donation be used to continue supporting awards for students attending Capilano University.

This new donation will be used to create a second annual award at CapU resulting in two $1,000 awards per year.  Both awards are funded through to 2022/23.

Chapter chair Arnel Benavides CPA CA said, “on behalf of chapter members, we are delighted to support student success.”  CPAEF Governor and vice-chair, Judith Watson FCPA FCMA, who is also a faculty member at CapU, responded, “we appreciate the donation from local members.  Your generous support of CapU students is truly amazing.”
