Dana Gunn is a manager for the BC Ministry of Finance’s Revenue Division. She has ten years of experience working at public practice firms and in government. She began her career in 2015 in KPMG’s audit practice and shortly after writing the CFE exam, decided to specialize in tax and complete the In-Depth Tax Program. Dana decided to make a switch to the BC Government in 2021 and transitioned to a leadership role in 2022. Dana enjoys working within a team and mentoring students that are pursuing their CPA designation.
 

David TurpinDavid Turpin, CPA, CGA 
Audit Project Manager, Consumer Taxation Audit Branch 
BC Public Service

David Turpin is a CPA and project manager for the BC Ministry of Finance.  He has over 20 years experience leading teams and working with commodity taxes including the British Columbia provincial sales tax, federal GST and HST.  Before working in the public service, David thought accounting was all about numbers.  He now says accounting is about helping people to achieve their goals and to address their challenges.  David has a passion for learning and assisting others.
