We have Indigenous staff dedicated to recruiting future Indigenous CPA students through active outreach and hosting Indigenous webinars and events (in person and online). The CPA Western School of Business and the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of Alberta have collaborated with Indigenous subject matter experts to create courses tailored to Indigenous learners.

For Indigenous youth and high school students, we have various programs and financial support that can help them identify and reach their career goals.
This includes our own student ambassador program, partnership with the Junior Achievement Program and the Youth Entrepreneurship and Training Program, as well as providing funding support to attend AFOA BC’s Economic Development Conference.
We also actively engage and support Indigenous postsecondary students on-campus and with our own initiatives.
In addition to sponsoring and engaging on-campus student ambassadors, we attend and sponsor various on-campus Lunch & Learns, Indigenous Student Feasts, and other Indigenous student events. Recently, in partnership with TELUS, we’ve launched the TELUS Award for Indigenous Post-Secondary Success ($2,500). Visit the CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF).
We work closely with Indigenous organizations, including AFOA BC and FMB, and are open to working with Indigenous organizations and communities such as Friendship Centres, Employment Programs, Métis organizations and First Nations.
We are seeking opportunities for collaboration to help build community financial capacity. We can partner in ways that work for you and your organization or community.
